GainPeace invited the Chicago area media for a press conference on July 15, 2016. The occasion was the launching of GainPeace’s ‘Peace Campaign’ to educate our fellow Americans about the beautiful message of Islam.
During this conference, GainPeace also highlighted other educational projects: Mailbox Dawah (sending postcards about Islam to people’s homes), open houses (inviting neighbors to Masajid) and outreach booths (educational booths about Islam on public places).
The conference was held at the Islamic Center of Oakbrook Terrace (ICOBT), IL and was covered by the following media outlets: ABC, CBS, FOX and WBEZ (NPR).
