NEW YORK, NY (March 22, 2017) – The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), a grassroots organization of American Muslims, expresses deep shock and dismay at the attack on Westminster in London.
Four people, including a police officer and a man believed to be the attacker, were killed and a total of 20 injured in the attack near the UK’s Houses of Parliament today.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this heinous attack and their families.
“We must remain united against these type of threats that affect all of us equally and that know no barriers” said Javaid Siddiqi, President of ICNA.
ICNA commends the quick response by the law enforcement and calls for a speedy and thorough investigation of the incident.
