CHICAGO, Illinois (March 1, 2006)- Faith Trust Institute, a nondenominational organization based in Seattle, Washington recently nominated and selected local Muslim Leader Imam F. Qasim Khan to address a National Symposium which is part of a three day training session to end violence against women.
 
This Leadership Training Event will take place in Phoenix, Arizona, March 20 – 22 and will include participants from a mostly Christian background from across America.
 
Imam Khan, widely known for his fiery and spirited delivery is the Director of Family Services and Outreach for Islamic Circle of North America at the Chicago Chapter.
 
Imam Khan recently relocated to Chicago from Cleveland, Ohio, where he was the Director of one of America’s oldest Islamic organizations, the First Cleveland Mosque.
