The purpose of these radio ads on Islam is to inform fellow Americans about the true teachings of Islam and to clear up any misunderstandings regarding Islam. This campaign will run from Sept. 10 – 23rd, 2007.
A toll free contact number, 877-WHY-ISLAM, is provided in the ad, so interested listeners may call and ask any questions, request free translated copies of the Quran, Islamic books and brochures.
There are 1.5 Billion Muslims around the world and 8 million in United States. ICNA is one of the largest, non-profit, independent, grass roots organizations of Muslim Americans with twenty five chapters and affiliates in USA and Canada.
