CHICAGO, Illinois (November 1, 2005) – The western suburb zone of ICNA-Chicago organized a Ramadan Iftaar/Dinner. More than 50 public school/college teachers, librarians, students, and city officials witnessed the breaking of the fast. The program started with a lecture on an introduction of the five pillars of Islam followed by Q/A session and Iftaar. Guests were also given a tour of the mosque. At the end of the program every guest received a gift including a CD (Wonders and Beauty of Islam by A.R. Green), a box of dates, and a book (Three Abrahamic Faiths by Jerald Dirks).
