LEXINGTON, Kentucky (March, 28, 2006) – The ICNA Lexington, KY chapter has sponsored bus advertisements about the prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him). The ads will be on display in all 50 LEXTRAN (Public Transport Bus System) buses.
Starting this week, bus riders in Lexington can read about the qualities of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). A quote from Michael Heart’s – The 100: A ranking of the most influential persons in history also provides a western view of Prophet Muhammad. Riders can also make a note of ICNA and WhyIslam’s websites for additional information.
Commenting on the event, Mohammad Siddiqui, President of ICNA’s North Central region said, “This is a good form of outreach and an opportunity to reach out to hundreds of bus riders in the Blue Grass state and to share with them the qualities of Prophet Muhammad. We are very thankful to the LEXTRAN authorities for extending their help and making this happen.”
