NEW YORK, NY (March 3, 2018) – Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) chapters across the North East held numerous leadership events during the past week with over 500 imams and community leaders.
The events were geared towards recognizing leaders for providing selfless service in leading Muslims in their respective communities. The events were also used to introduce the ICNA-MAS annual convention which is set to take place in Baltimore, MD during March 31-April 1.
Br. Javaid, the Ameer invited the Muslim leaders to take part in the upcoming ICNA-MAS convention and implored them to encourage their communities to do the same. The leadership events were held in Baltimore in Maryland, Alexandria and Dulles in Virginia, Boston in Massachusetts and in the State of Delaware.

The 42nd Annual ICNA-MAS Convention will be held on March 30-April 1, 2018, in Baltimore, MD. With renowned speakers, amazing sessions and an incredible bazaar, the Easter weekend event provides thousands with unforgettable memories. The theme of this year’s convention is “50 years of Sharing Islam Serving Humanity (1968 – 2018).”
