ATLANTA, Georgia, December 14th, 2015 – “Working on building bridges is the need of hour for all Americans” said Abdulrauf Khan, Chair of the largest convention of American Muslims in the Southeast. Organized annually by the Islamic Circle of North America for the last 21 years, the regional convention this year is themed “Muslim Americans, Building Bridges”.

Held at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center in Atlanta from December 24 to 26, the convention will feature many of the top speakers from across the nation. With dozens of vendors, and several novel programs, the convention is bound to be another not-to-be-missed event by ICNA.
Other highlights of the convention include Midnight Basketball Tournament with Mahmoud Abdul Rauf (former NBA player), Youth lectures, Matrimonial Services and a host of activities and programs for children.
A unique event will be the Qir’at (Quranic recitation) Competition where participants will be judged for Tajweed, Makharij, Hifz and style. Also organized are the Youth Debate and the Science Quiz Competition.
