The Islamic Circle of North America Relief USA (ICNA Relief USA) is organizing an Open House this coming Saturday, October 10th, 2009 from 9am. till 9pm. for their new Temporary Housing Facility for Homeless Women located at 4021 Baden Street, Houston, Texas 77009.
“This is building upon the success of our Temporary Housing Facility in New York City. We have a well known track record in the Southern States for sheltering those displaced by Disaster and providing short term emergency assistance. Now we will be offering long term care and shelter for internally displaced and homeless woman,” informed Ayub Badat, the National Executive Director of ICNA Relief USA.
Everyone is invited to come and give input about the facility & services. Present at this Open House will be local Program Directors, providing tour of the facilities and outlining the Program model.
The Open House will last from 9 am to 9 pm. It will include orientation about what ICNA Relief USA will be providing at this Center, including the services and the types of populations, which are expected to benefit from this housing unit.
This home is expected to provide the following: Case Management; Access to Services including job training, education, and medical assistance to women, who are economically disadvantaged and suffering from societal ills.
