Dear Respected Brothers and Sisters,
ICNA Relief USA is one of the major national Muslim organizations dedicated exclusively to the welfare of needy Muslims and Non-Muslims here in the United States.
In times of disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Ike, or the floods in Tennessee, Minnesota and South Dakota, ICNA Relief was the one Muslim agency that was always there. Thousands of needy families rely on ICNA Relief for their utility and rent bills, school supplies for children, etc.
ICNA Relief is currently operating three shelters that provide temporary housing to sisters who have no place to go. ICNA Relief also operates 11 food pantries to provide free food baskets for orphans, a full service medical clinic, family counseling through experienced professionals and disaster response projects.
ICNA Relief relies on your donations to continue its work; this year, donations have fallen due to the struggling economy, yet many are needier than ever. Just imagine a widow with three children being served with an eviction notice because she is $200 short on her rent, or an elderly couple without power or an orphan without a school uniform. The reality is that this happens every day in our own neighborhoods.
Remember that our Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “The one who works for a widow or a needy person, is like a warrior striving for Allah’s Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all the night.” (Bukhari)

Remember that we are blessed to be living during the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah; the Prophet, peace be upon him, told us, “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” (Bukhari) Take advantage of the additional reward in these days and donate to ICNA Relief.
