LOS ANGELES, California (April 22, 2011) – This weekend, WhyIslam, a project of ICNA, dedicated to eradicating misconceptions about Islam, is handing out free literature and translated copies of the Qur’an at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California (USC) on April 30 and May 1.

Last year, WhyIslam handed out 4640 copies of the Qur’an and more than 8,000 pamphlets and audio CD’s at the event that has now become the largest Muslim outreach booth in America.
WhyIslam invites the community to attend, as WhyIslam volunteers will be available to answer any questions regarding Islam, its teachings and help convey the true message of Islam.
An Islamic Circle of North America project, WhyIslam is dedicated to help people learn about Islam, ask questions and clear any misunderstandings. For more information about WhyIslam, please visit www.whyislam.org.
