NEW YORK, NY (March 20, 2019) – The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Helping Hand for Relief and Development USA (HHRD) sent a delegation to Christchurch, New Zealand to personally deliver condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack last week on behalf of the Muslim community in USA.

The delegation included ICNA Secretary General Hanif Ismail, HHRD Director for International Programs, Imam Omar Suleiman and others. They were joined by other Muslim representatives from the USA, Europe and several other countries.

Many representatives from all around the world are still arriving to attend the Friday prayers & gathering in the open park.
Delegation included Shaykh Omer Suleiman, Shaykh Yahya Ibrahimi, Br. Wajahat from HHRD regional partner Islamic Forum of Australian Muslims (IFAM) and Charity Australia International (CAI).

Bodies are being brought one after other for burials. The ICNA and HHRD delegation is present in the Cemetery & attending the funeral prayers.

Muslim representatives with the Taj Mohammed, who was injured during Christchurch terror attack. Included are Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Chairman of the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California and Shaykh Nouman Baig, Director of Islamic Organization of Knowledge, Southern California.
