Eric Adam, president of the Brooklyn Borough of New York, praised the services of officials, volunteers and 180 individuals from 10 Pakistani organizations for their community service and welfare work during the Covid-19 outbreak.
In honor of the Pakistani community, a special ceremony was held in Borough hall. In this ceremony Pakistani organizations Icna rilef, Pakistani American Association of New York(PAANY) , Apna Community Center, Pakistani Youth Organization, Council of People’s Organization, American Council of Minority Women, Pakistani American Skilled Women Association, Brooklyn Emerge were honored with certificates of appreciation.
Borough President Eric Adam said that Pakistani organizations served everyone during the pandemic , New York was most affected by the corona, the services of the Pakistani community will always be remembered. Chaudhry Aslam, chairman of the Pakistani American Association New York (PAANY) said this is our city, whenever it is needed, Pakistanis will be at the forefront in serving the community.
